Lux Rooms Budapest is a fully renovated, furnished and equipped student residence located in a beautifully maintained, safe and clean building in the heart of Budapest's 6th district, 2 min. walk from the UNESCO World Heritage Andrassy avenue, with public transportation and stores just around the corner. High ceilings, 5 spacious bedrooms with private or shared bathrooms (detailed description below!), luxury bathrooms and common areas, fully equipped kitchen, very large dining room and living room. Blankets, pillows, quilts, sheets, towels.... only YOU are missing here!

Please note that we are not a short-term accommodation provider. The minimum rental period is 3 months (but candidates wishing to stay for the whole semester or more will be given priority). We appreciate your understanding.

Cleaning and disinfection of the common areas once a week.

The apartment is fully furnished with taste, decorated with exclusive photographs by Alberto Vezendi.

Fast, reliable WIFI included in the price.

Each tenant has a bed with full bedding, pillows, quilts, blankets and towels, bedside table, desk, lamp, chair and a large wardrobe with three doors.

With the exception of the dressing room, all rooms have one or more radiators to ensure the right temperature in winter, and individually adjustable air conditioners to feel cool in summer.

The residence has a huge living/dining room with kitchen, 5 large rooms (detailed description below), 4 bathrooms (2 private bathrooms in rooms "Taj Mahal" and "Dune" and 2 shared bathrooms of 11 m² and 5 m² shower, WC, bidet, washbasin and cupboards) and 1 storage room (8.5 m²). 

You will love the huge (64 m²) common living/dining room and kitchen!

In the dining room, 2 large tables, 10 chairs, 2 sofas and armchairs make everyday life more comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with Ikea cabinets, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, large refrigerator, 5 x 16-piece cutlery sets, 2 x 24-piece dinner sets, 12 deep bowls, 2 serving bowls, 18 cups, 24 glasses, complete set of pots, pans, casseroles, 17-piece tupperware set for food storage and all the necessary equipment to cook and eat well.

A washing machine, a large capacity dryer, microwave oven, hairdryer, iron, kettle... complete the equipment of the residence.

We welcome all Hungarian and foreign students: international students, exchange students, Erasmus students, Mundus students, students students...

Monthly rental: from 200 euros/bed/month + utilities (80 - 100 €/month) (see below the exact price & availability for each room). We also require a security deposit equivalent to two-months' rent. The price includes WIFI internet and cleaning of the common areas once a week. The only cost on top of the monthly rent are the gas and electricity bills on the basis of real consumption and shared between all tenants. No hidden costs!

# 1. "FULL MOON": (AVAILABLE until May 5, 2023, and then again from May 27, 2023!) Double room (19 m²) with shared bathrooms. Very light and sunny. Opens to an inner court: no noise from the street. 2 beds with full bedding, pillows, quilts, blankets and towels, 2 bedside tables, 2 desks, 2 chairs and 2 large wardrobes with three doors. Two shared bathrooms (11 m² and 5 m² shower, WC, bidet, washbasin) available in the apartment.

RATES: For 2 people €250/bed/month (+ utilities) or if you want the full room for yourself: €400/full room/month (+ utilities) (In this case only 1 person lives in the room). We require a security deposit amount equivalent to 2 months' rent.

# 2. "LEOPARD": (AVAILABLE until May 5, 2023, and then again from May 27, 2023!!) Double room (17 m²) with shared bathrooms. Very light and sunny. Opens to an inner court: no noise from the street. 2 beds with full bedding, pillows, quilts, blankets and towels, 2 bedside tables, 2 desks, 2 chairs and 2 large wardrobes with three doors. Two shared bathrooms (11 m² and 5 m² shower, WC, bidet, washbasin) available in the apartment.

# 3. "TAJ MAHAL": (1 bed still AVAILABLE NOW for a male tenant! - shared) Double room with private complete bathroom (bathtub, toilet, bidet, washbasin, cupboard...) (Total surface: 23 m²: room 15 m² + bathroom 8 m²) . Very light and sunny. Opens to an inner court: no noise from the street. 2 beds with full bedding, pillows, quilts, blankets and towels, 2 bedside tables, 2 desks, 2 chairs and 2 large wardrobes with three doors.

RATES: For 2 people €300/bed/month (+ utilities) or if you want the full room for yourself: €500/full room/month (+ utilities) (In this case only 1 person lives in the room). We require a security deposit amount equivalent to 2 months' rent.

# 4. "NEW YORK":  (1 bed available NOW for a male tenant! - shared) Triple room (37 m²) with shared bathrooms. Very large and quiet room. Opens to an inner court: no noise from the street. 3 beds with full bedding, pillows, quilts, blankets and towels, 3 bedside tables, 3 desks, 3 chairs and 3 large wardrobes with three doors. Two shared bathrooms (11 m² and 5 m² shower, WC, bidet, washbasin) available in the apartment.

RATES: For 3 people sharing the room €200/bed/month (+ utilities); For 2 people only sharing the room €280/bed/month (+ utilities); or if you want the full room for yourself: €500/full room/month (+ utilities) (In this case only 1 person lives in the room). We require a security deposit amount equivalent to 2 months' rent.

# 5. "DUNE": (AVAILABLE from May 9, 2023!) Double room with private complete bathroom (bathtub, toilet, bidet, washbasin, cupboard...) (Total surface: 31 m²: room 24 m² + bathroom 7 m²). Large and quiet room. Opens to an inner court: no noise from the street. 2 beds with full bedding, pillows, quilts, blankets and towels, 2 bedside tables, 2 desks, 2 chairs and 2 large wardrobes with three doors.

RATES: For 2 people €300/bed/month (+ utilities) or if you want the full room for yourself: €500/full room/month (+ utilities) (In this case only 1 person lives in the room). We require a security deposit amount equivalent to 2 months' rent.

Finally, but very important, read carefully the full Rules of the Residence: By signing the rental agreement you undertake to respect these rules. They contain a detailed description of the essential rules of coexistence that guarantee the well-being of all, but the main points are:

• NO parties at all in the apartment (Why complicate your life? Budapest is full of cool bars, some of the best in Europe, enjoy them).

• All noise is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., both in the residence and in the whole building (outside corridor, courtyard, etc.).

• SMOKING is prohibited in the entire residence. (However, smoking is allowed outside, on the open corridor, there's a place for that too - see the Rules of the Residence for more details).

• ALL substances prohibited by law are forbidden, both in the residence and in the building as a whole (exterior corridor, patio, etc.). The possession, sale, purchase and/or use of these substances will systematically be reported to the police and carries the immediate termination of the rental agreement - no exceptions.

Hi! We're Nóra and Vilmos, the owners of Lux Rooms Budapest.

We're citizens of the world. We speak Hungarian, English, French, Spanish and Italian. We both have studied abroad, lived in several countries and travelled all around the world, so we are perfectly aware of the importance of a good accommodation when you're far from home.

Our mission is to offer you a new home away from home in our student residence Lux Rooms Budapest: a place where you feel good, a place where you can study undisturbed, a place to meet great people like you, a place you can call home!
